The short version.
This site doesn't ask you for anything. No forms, no accounts, no ad trackers. If you email us, we keep the email.
Who we are.
The Forae Group, LLC is a Texas limited liability company based in Dallas, Texas. This policy covers theforaegroup.com. Questions about it go to katrina@theforaegroup.com.
What we collect.
Two things. If you contact us, we receive what you choose to send — your name, email address, and message. Our email runs on Microsoft 365. Separately, like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical logs and basic visit statistics: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps. We use those to keep the site running and secure. We collect nothing else through this site.
What we do with it.
We respond to you, we do the work you engage us for, and we operate the site. Client engagements are governed by their own agreements.
What we don't do.
We don't sell your information. We don't share it for marketing. We don't send bulk email. We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.
Who processes it.
Two service providers handle data on our behalf: Microsoft, for email, and our website host, for site delivery, logs, and visit statistics. Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it, when it's necessary to protect our rights or someone's safety, to our professional advisors under confidentiality, or as part of a transaction involving the business itself.
How long we keep it.
Correspondence is kept as long as the working relationship makes it useful and business records require it.
Your choices.
Email us and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may retain what a legal or contractual obligation requires us to keep.
Do Not Track.
This site doesn't track visitors across other websites, so it doesn't respond to Do Not Track signals — there's nothing to turn off.
Children.
This site is for businesses and isn't directed to children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Links.
This site links to LinkedIn and other outside services. Their privacy practices are their own.
Where we operate.
The site is operated from the United States, and information is processed there.
Changes.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
